Hello! I am an undergraduate student pursuing my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering at CU Boulder. I feel passionately that by learning better engineering design practices, we can make products and the environment more inclusive with an emphasis on people!

Researching in Dr. Burleson’s Global Design Group has expanded my knowledge of human-centered design and how we as engineers can better design to increase well-being outcomes (physical, social, emotional). We research how engineers can utilize Affordance Theory in the design of their artifacts and environments to maximize well-being outcomes for stakeholders and end users. From our findings we can hopefully suggest improved design practices for engineers of the future to follow that can lead to more innovative ideas!

In my free time, I am working with kids to teach them problem solving and teamwork. I have taught kids from Boulder to Taiwan. I enjoy travelling to faraway places and love learning about each country's rich history and culture.
