Hi there! I am a sophomore undergraduate student researcher in the Burleson Global Design Group at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am pursuing a B.S. in Integrated Design Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Engineering Leadership. My academic and professional interests center on advancing human-centered design and engineering practices that lead to more equitable, sustainable, and impactful solutions. I am motivated by a desire to improve how engineers approach complex challenges so that outcomes better support communities and contribute to positive social and environmental change.

Through my role in the Burleson Global Design Group, I am eager to contribute to research that advances design theory and methods while gaining experience in engineering education and design science. Beyond my research, I serve as Vice President of Engineers Without Borders at CU Boulder, where I help lead projects in Rwanda, Ecuador, and Nepal. Together, these experiences allow me to grow as a collaborator and emerging engineer while supporting work that addresses society’s most pressing challenges. In my free time I enjoy coffee, reading, snowboarding, biking, camping, and spending time with my family.
