Carlota Serrano defends her M.S. Thesis

Congratulations to Carlota Serrano for successfully defending her M.S. Thesis on November 3rd! Over the last two years she has worked on developing and testing methods to support designers with considering context during later stages of design. She presented part of this work at the International Conference on Engineering Design (ICED) last summer, and received a Reviewers Choice Award!

Carlota’s defense committee was chaired by Prof. Burleson and included Profs. James Harper and Nicole Xu.

Carlota is graduating with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with a special focus in Design. Congratulations, Carlota—we’re so proud of you!
