Hi there! My name is Zachary, and I am currently pursuing my Professional Master’s Degree in Global Engineering through the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering and Resilience. I am always aiming to use my experiences and skills to help contribute to the common good. I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Burleson Global Design Group at CU Boulder. I am very interested in the sociotechnical elements of engineering design, and the emerging field of peace engineering. My research focuses on investigating the current status and trends within engineering for sustainable development, and the interconnectedness of this field with the political and social structures that impact it. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in work that is helping to expand the definition of engineering altogether.

In my free time I enjoy coffee, reading, snowboarding, biking, camping, and spending time with my family.
